Haus (Orell), Josephine "Joyce" Elizabeth
August 2, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother on August 2, 2025. Born in Regina, SK on October 21, 1929. She was 95 years old.
Joyce was predeceased by her 4 daughters Shelley, Deborah, Donalda and Linda; her parents Margaret and Philip Davies; and 2 sisters Evelyn and Jackie. Joyce is survived by her 3 sons Lynnien “Butch” (Colleen), Reginald (Debrah) and Christopher; 3 sisters Phyllis, Angela and Nadine; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Joyce worked at Fuhrmann's Meats for 34 years. She had a passion for gardening and her many pets, especially Hank. Her love of cooking was legendary. We will miss her holiday meals and family gatherings, especially the perogies and cabbage rolls. She loved these family gatherings. She had a wicked sense of humour. The laughter with her will be missed. Always helping out when asked, sending meals, as she would say a "care package" to grandchildren and children in college, plates of food to children working shift work, always sent with her love. She had a loving heart for all her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and she will be missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Regina Humane Society, 4900 Parliament Avenue. Regina SK S4W 0T7.
Private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

I had the fortune of meeting Joyce years ago. But we unfortunately lost touch .She was always so friendly and excited when we would stop by for visits. I remember going shopping for flowers with her, and giving scamper and hank pets. She will definitely be missed. Condolences to the family.

To one of my favourite people ever….. I am going to miss the stories of the good OLD days, I’m going to miss my yearly visit with you, I’m going to miss putting puzzles together and laughing at your surprise after I’d find all the pieces, I’m gonna miss the smile you gave me every time I walked into your room, the tears you cried when I left, and you’d always ask when I was coming back or I wished you were here all the time. I wished the same thing sometimes. But aunty I’m so excited that you will be seeing Shelly, Debbie , Donalda and Linda. I’m so happy you are not alone, I’m happy there’s no more pain.
