Leibel, John Florian

January 19, 2024

John Florian Leibel

On Friday, January 19, 2024 John Florian Leibel passed away peacefully at the age of 74 years.

John was predeceased by his parents Florian Leibel on December 25, 1971 and Mary Leibel on June 2, 1984; and his daughter Tina Maria on February 22, 1978. John is survived by his daughter Pamela (Murray) Priddell; his sisters Henrietta (Tom) Unique and Michalene (Larry) Boulding and their families; grandchildren Reanna (Robert) Coutts, Justin (Brittney) Leibel, Aiden Priddell and Carter Priddell; great-grandchildren Alexis, Jaxon, Olivia, Lennox and Lachlan; as well as Bernie who was very special to him.

Dad had many friends he had met along the way and he cherished each and everyone. Over the years he had many nicknames which suited him. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren knew him as Bumpa, others may have referred to him as The King or Chuckles. Dad was a very private man who didn't like people fussing over him. He enjoyed his time going down to the Eagles Club and having a barley sandwich. There he met many friends.

There will be a small gathering announced at a later date.

We would like to take this time and thank the Regina Pasqua Hospital, especially the MSU Unit for all the wonderful care Dad was given. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations in Johnโ€™s memory may be made to Carmicheal Outreach
