Kolodziezak, Joan

June 14, 2026

Joan Kolodziezak

It is with deep sadness we announce that Joan Kolodziezak, late of Regina, SK, passed away after a brief illness on June 14, 2026 at the age of 84 years.

Joan was born in Regina on April 19,1942 to Carl and Margaret Putz. She grew up in North Regina and was happy to be the 1st graduating class out of Martin Collegiate in 1960. After graduation, Joan began work as an accountant, making lifelong friends while doing so. She met Andy Kolodziezak thru CYC and they were married on June 22, 1963. They were blessed with 2 children Dona and David. And further joy came when Joan became a grandmother to Laura, Cole, Liam and Myla. Joan loved travelling, winters in Arizona, her faithful little dog, Dixie and for anyone who knew Joan - shopping and fashion! The past few years she has enjoyed her time spent at Trinity Manor and being involved in activities such as running the tuck shop and helping organize the library. She always had a smile for everyone there and will be missed by all.

Joan was predeceased by her parents, Carl and Margaret Putz (Page); stepfather David Page; her brother Robert Putz; lifelong friend and cousin Shirley Sutherland and spouse Andy Kolodziezak. She leaves to mourn her passing her children Dona (Brendan) Murphy and grandchildren Laura and Liam, David (Jenny) Kolodziezak and grandchildren Cole and Myla; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

Funeral Mass will be held this summer of 2026 (Details of service to follow when finalized). The family asks in lieu of flowers, that a donation be made to the Regina Humane Society.
