Obituaries

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of James Leslie Terry on December 6, 2024 at the age of 80.

James was born in Orillia, Ontario in 1944. He moved to Regina, Saskatchewan and worked at Sasktel as an IT technician for over 25 years. James was a wonderful and attentive husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. James and his wife Molly spent many years travelling all over the place but spent much of their time in Malaysia living and spending time with family. In his down time James would build model trains, build and play his own flight simulator, fix and refurbish broken laptops and computers.

James was predeceased by his mother Margaret Maddern; father Isaac Terry; and his late wife Susan Terry. He is survived by his son Stuart (Terra) Terry; his oldest granddaughter Natalie (Patrick) Albert; his youngest granddaughter Addyson Terry; as well as many other nieces and nephews in Malaysia.

Jim will be deeply missed by all his family and extended family in Malaysia and by many others he touched the lives of.

As per James’s request there will be no memorial or funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in James’s memory to World Vision Canada.
