Brezinski (Berkner), Gloria

December 5, 2024

Gloria Brezinski (Berkner)

The family of Gloria are heartbroken to announce the passing of their precious Mom and Grandma on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at the age of 87.

She was predeceased by her mother Anne (Berkner) Campbell, her brother Donald Lovas and the father of her children Lawrence Brezinski. Gloria is survived by her loving children Lori, Darren (Connie) and Blair; her two very special grandsons Ryan (Maegan) and Brandon; her sister Peggy Graham and brother Leonard Lane; as well as numerous brothers and sisters in-law, nieces and nephews.

Gloria was born in Flin Flon, MB. She moved to Regina, SK and called that her home. Gloria worked at Sears, Buddy’s Steak Ranch, Saskatchewan Hotel and the Sheraton Cavalier. She also managed gift shops at the Regina Inn and Delta Inn. She was known for her kindness and warm disposition and always had a very neat and organized store. She was lucky enough to meet various celebrities, and enjoyed so many great conversations with all her customers. While working at the Saskatchewan Hotel she was honoured to serve the late Queen Elizabeth.

Gloria loved to travel and made many trips with her daughter Lori. Since 2005, they drove and toured all of the United States. She also travelled to many ball parks and hockey rinks as she cheered on her grandsons. Nothing made her happier than sitting in the stands at a hockey arena or in her lawn chair at a ball diamond. She was their absolute #1 fan and they brought her so much happiness. She was an amazing cook and baker and had so many delicious recipes that she perfected. She loved visiting many casinos in Canada and the United States, entertaining, playing cards, and visiting with lots of family and friends.

Gloria will be so missed and will live on in the hearts of her family forever. She left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Regina Humane Society or the Regina Food Bank.
