Frances Aldeen Margaret Brown was born on January 29, 1930, in Pelly, SK, to Stanley and Margaret Anderson. She was the youngest of six children and the only daughter in a close and loving family. At a young age, Frances accepted the Lord Jesus as her Saviour. On June 17, 1950, she married Gordon Brown, and together they built a life anchored in God's word. They farmed near Regina, SK before moving to the city in 1956, where they raised their three children: Margaret, Joyce, and Brian.
Frances was predeceased by her husband Gordon in 1997, as well as her parents, her brothers, one great-grandson and two great-granddaughters. She is lovingly remembered by her children, her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law Ruby Anderson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In 2002, Frances moved to Benson Manor, where she enjoyed many friendships. Her greatest joy was her family, and she delighted in seeing them walk in faith. Frances has finished the course and kept the faith because of the Son of God who loved her, and gave himself for her. “The mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children.” — Psalm 103:17
Memorial Service for family and friends will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in North East Community Centre, 205 Hamilton Street, Regina, Saskatchewan.
