Erin Theresa Milligan

Erin Theresa Milligan passed away peacefully on July 22, 2023 at the Palliative Care Unit 3A, Pasqua Hospital, Regina, SK. Family and friends by her side, she shared smiles and lots of hugs.

Erin loved her family fiercely. She was an extremely strong and independent woman who worked hard all of her life. She had a passion for horses in her younger years and became an avid gardener later on. She was good at everything she did. Whether it was woodworking or cleaning the house. She did it all and everything in between with ease, precision and passion.

Erin will be greatly missed by her family and friends but she also wants them to live and love with everything they have. After her terminal diagnosis she made sure to enjoy every moment. And she wanted everyone else to do the same.

A Celebration of Erin’s Life will be held at a later date.

Erin’s own words: She lived, she loved, she laughed and I really did have it all. Thanks for the journey can’t wait for the next one to come! Please know I’m at peace and very happy.

My condolences to the family of Erin. We went to elementary and high school together. I was very saddened and shocked to hear of Erin's passing, and will always remember her as a beautiful person, and a fellow animal lover.

This is the first whole week we haven’t chatted. You’re the first thought I have every day. I know in time this too shall pass. Erin, this I know, you had the biggest, warmest, loving and forgiving heart. You held so many people in that big heart of yours. And we all hold a piece of you in our hearts forever. We will all cherish you and our memories made with you forever until we meet again. God bless your family and friends with peace and comfort 💝

Well Sis, this journey has ended and the next one has just begun and what an amazing adventure I imagine it will be. Spread your wings and fly, soar to those heights that raced through your imagination and smile. I love you with every positive vibration that has ever resonated through this wandering soul. It never ever mattered how much time had passed or where we found one another on this journey, our arms would lock in that familiar embrace that immediately calmed our hearts. I am proud of you, especially in the way you touch the hearts of those that you held close. As well in the way you found beauty in your crafts, which I display proudly and marvel in your creativity. I am also extremely proud to have had the pleasure of calling you my sister in this life and can’t wait for that time when our energies find one another once again. I look forward to all the stories of your adventures. I will miss your physical embraces, but I know you will never be that far as you guide us with your energy and spirit. I love ya Sis, give Quinn and Tim a huge hug from us all and take a twirl around the universe. 😘❤️

RIP my friend 🙏🏻❤️. Who was Erin? She was a charismatic, loquacious, artistic, a social butterfly, and had strong convictions. She could take a dilapidated piece of “anything” and transform it into a piece of beauty. She loved challenge, and her last biggest challenge she faced was her terminal cancer diagnosis. She took this diagnosis and embraced it with all the love and happiness and turned this last journey into a legacy of fun-loving-living memories. Just 6 weeks before Erin passed, she was dancing in the streets (literally). 15+ years of friendship has provided many memories that ended in as many tears of laughter and of sadness. Watching Erin go through this journey has been very inspiring to me. Thank you Erin. Will miss you sweetie. Love you. A. Xoxo

Auntie, you are one of the people who impacted my life with such love and compassion and your spirit was beautiful. You always made me feel so loved and I wanted to be with you always. I never wanted you to leave and I never wanted to leave you when we were together when I was young. You will be remembered with great loving memories that I cherish and will always hold close to my heart. I love you, and will honor your wishes to live on in love. Rest in heaven, Auntie. I love you so much.

My prayers go out to my cousins, my grandparents, and all of her grandchildren.. look forward to the celebration of life in the future.
