I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Elmer. He was such a kind and welcoming host father to me, and I will always cherish the time I spent with your family. My thoughts are with you all.

I am deeply saddened at Elmer’s passing. Elmer has been instrumental in the life of my family, keeping my brother and nephew connected with the New Hope Lutheran Church community through committed invitations and openness to men’s gatherings after my dad passed away last year. Elmer always made me feel like I was the most important person in the room. I will miss his gentle spirit. My most sincere thoughts and prayers are with you, Carol, Patti and Sherri, and your families, during these days and weeks.

Dear Carol, Sherri & Patti - my deepest sympathy on the sudden death of your husband and father. Wishing you comfort in your memories. “The beauty of a life well lived is that it is never forgotten.”

Carol, Sincere condolences to you and your family. Elmer was a great friend and delight to know despite working with competing breweries initially. He was wonderful to work with on Pile'o Bones Sundays, Regina Exhibition projects and especially curling events. The City has lost a treasure.

We have had the pleasure of serving Elmer and his group for many years at our Restaurant. He was a very loyal customer. Such a pleasure to to have known Elmer, he was a gem of a person. Sympathies to his family and friends, he will be dearly missed. From the Staff at Westside Pizza

I had the pleasure of working with Elmer from about 92 or 93 up until 2000. He had a personality that made all feel comfortable. He was a go getter that would go to any lengths to get things done. Very respected in groups, associations that he was part of...especially the Exhibition Association. We had a pretty efficient team at Displayco, and later at Rave On ent. Elmer, rest in peace my friend. Carol & family...my heart is with you.

My husband & I were devastated to hear of Elmer's passing he was a great neighbor & friend. He looked after our house & driveway for a few years while we spent our winters in Mesa AZ. Sincere condolences to Carol & daughters!

So sorry to hear and my sincere condolences to Carol and family. Elmer was a caring and great colleague. Very fond memories and times working with Elmer.
