Edith Sharron Robertson

Edith Sharron Robertson, age 85 years, passed away on October 5, 2024, at the Pasqua Hospital, Regina, SK.

Sharron was a remarkable, creative woman whose vibrant personality could light up any room, leaving everyone laughing until it hurt. With a razor-sharp mind and a warm, inviting sense of humor, she made everyone she encountered feel welcome and at ease.

Sharron had a deep love for learning, often reading five books at a time, and expressed herself artistically through painting with oils and pastels. She raised her two sons, Cliff and Michael, on the West Coast in North Vancouver, where she led an active life. She enjoyed a long career at Spar Group Industries while also enjoying hobbies like swimming, golf, skiing, yoga, sailing and long walks along the ocean or in the forest. A natural athlete in her youth, Sharron remained active throughout her life. She relished deep conversations, always offering a unique perspective and engaging with ease on any topic.

She also adored tabby cats, a spot of tea, movies, Coronation Street, knitting, needlework and playing games. After retirement, Sharron returned to the prairies to be near her lifelong friends and family, spending many joyful days with her brother John, sister Gloria, and their children Lisa, Robbie and Michael. She loved the trips she took out to Toronto to see her sister Beverly and Husband John and their children Doug and Amber as well. She was grateful for her friendship with Carol and her son for the beautiful meals he prepared for her. Sharron’s best friend Judy and her son Brent and his family also provided Sharron with lifelong, loving relationships that filled her heart with joy.

She relished her time in her ‘nest’ at the Trianon Tower and the many lovely neighbours she spent time with there over the years.

Sharron made many friends along the way and lived a full and joyful life, spreading warmth and smiles to all who knew her. She fought like a warrior with a heart of gold until the end. Now, she is free and dancing through the cascading Blue Green light of the Aurora Borealis into her next chapter.

In keeping with Sharron’s wishes there will be no funeral service.

She will be deeply missed and will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
