Kim, Sandra and Dennis, we were sad to learn that Dorland has passed away. He was a very fine person, a true gentleman in every sense, and we enjoyed seeing him whenever we had the opportunity, including golfing with Bob and Dennis, and dining together in many places over the years. He was always so kind and genuinely happy to be among friends and family. We offer our sincere condolences to all your family who will miss him very much. It was my pleasure to share time and laughter with Don on golf courses, happy hours, dances, the hot tub. His smiling face will remain with me always. He was a true gentleman and friend. My last phone call with Don was the night this year that his Saskatchewan Roughriders beat B.C. He was gloating a little….Deepest condolences Sandra, Dennis, Kim and family. Love Marie

I am so grateful to be related to this kind, genuine, intelligent and successful cousin of mine. His mother is my Godmother, his sister and family some of my favorite people and his daughters are so blessed to have him as their father. May you rest in peace knowing how much you meant to so many. Don was a patient man. Full of life at every turn. I know Kim and company will miss his smile. I am honored to have known him. God speed my fellow human.

I always wanted to be like Don, walking the course into his nineties, and hitting it straight and true down the middle of the fairway, I looked up to him, the way he played the game, he was my mentor, I will sure miss his humour, around the course, as always kj.

I’m so sorry Kim, Sandra, Dennis and family for your loss. Don was a great friend and more than a loyal customer after being his barber for the last fifty years and sharing his life experiences in that time. Thanks for the memories. Don.
