January 27, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, dad, grandpa, brother, uncle, and great-grandpa Don Craigen on January 27, 2024 at the age of 87 years.
Don will be missed by his wife Ruby of 65 years; children Selina (Ian) Craigen, Bonnie Craigen (the late Tex Emery), Jeff (Jeana) Craigen, and Cory (Tracey) Craigen. He also leaves behind his pride and joy, his cherished grandchildren Travis Bostock, Matt (Katrina) Bostock, Elisa Bostock, Mackenzie (Brandan) Craigen, Riley Craigen, Kaitlyn Craigen, Caroline Craigen, and special great-granddaughter Braeya Bostock. Also left to mourn his loss is his sister Colleen (Shaun) Casey, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Over the years Don wore multiple hats and considered himself a “Jack of all trades”. He was the proud owner of several businesses during his lifetime and served the City of Regina for 31 years as a Firefighter. Those who knew Don will remember his kindness, his generosity, and his keen sense of humor.
Please join the family to honor and Celebrate the Life of Don Craigen on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Regina Italian Club, 2148 Connaught Street, Regina, SK. We welcome anyone to share a story about Don during this celebration.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff in Palliative Care Unit 3A at the Regina Pasqua Hospital for their kind, caring, and compassionate care in Don’s final days. In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift card donation directly to the Palliative Care Unit 3A at the Regina Pasqua Hospital. The gift cards will be used to pay it forward to patients and families in the unit during challenging times. Gift card donations may be left with the Craigen family and will then be delivered to the unit.
