August 9, 2025
With great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Donalyn on August 9, 2025, at the age of 76. The only child of Chris and Javonne Miller, Donalyn was born in Bienfait, SK. In 1957, the family moved to Regina, SK where Donalyn built her life, flourishing in her work, art, family, and faith.
Known to many as Regina's "stamp lady" for 44 years, Donalyn founded Telic Marking Devices, a rubber stamp manufacturing company, in 1977. She was a woman of unwavering strength and work ethic, juggling the demands of her company with the responsibilities of being a single parent and the primary caregiver for her mother. When she wasn't making rubber stamps, Donalyn pursued her other passion: painting. She taught art classes, generously sharing her talent and love of painting with all who wanted to learn.
Faith through music was a guiding light in Donalyn's life as she cherished her hymnal almost as much as her Bible. Donalyn was also widely known for her witty and wise-cracking sense of humor. She held a firm belief that laughter was the most powerful way to navigate life's hardships.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter and will be deeply missed by her daughter, Nancy (Anne), her many close cousins, and her cherished lifelong friends. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in First Baptist Church, 2241 Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK. We extend our sincere thanks to the staff at the Westminster Care Home and the William Booth Special Care Home, both in Regina, for their exemplary care.
It was no secret that Donalyn adored dogs to no end. To honor her deep love for animals, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Regina’s Bright Eyes Dog Rescue.

Dear Nancy, We are all so sad to hear of the passing of your Mom, Donalyn! She was always a delight to visit with, as was your Grandmother, Javonne! Our family was always so happy to hear about your family once they moved from Coalfields to Regina. Our sister Norma always stayed close to your Mom and grandmother until Norma passed away in 2003. I loved my occasional visit in Regina with both of these wonderful ladies! 🌹🌹🌺🌺 We will always remember them! ❤️❤️ Our sincere condolences to you! Thinking of you! Take Special Care! 🥰🥰🥰 Marge Young and the Samenook family
