Dawne Judith Graham

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Dawne ’Bugsy’ Judith Graham, a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, athlete, flower child, construction worker, banker, massage therapist, teacher, mentor and friend, who left us peacefully on April 15, 2024 at the age of 75.

Dawne’s life was a testament to her strength, compassion and unwavering spirit. Her passion for healing was evident through her dedicated work in massage therapy. She touched the lives of many with her kindness and her hands that brought comfort and peace.

A beacon of hope, Dawne was an inspiration in the addiction recovery community. Her journey of sobriety was a powerful story of resilience and courage, which she shared generously, offering support and guidance to those around her.

She was predeceased by her parents Joan and George Graham, as well as her brother Murray. She leaves behind a legacy of love and selflessness, embodied by her daughter Tara (Jason); son George (Allana); her sister Maureen (Garnet); friend Cleve; her adored grandchildren Keane (Tiffany), Kaitlyn, Hailey, Casey and Shae; her very special great-grandchildren; her nephews Matthew, Robert and Daniel and their families; all of her friends and her special fur baby Janis. Dawne’s radiant smile and gentle nature will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

As we bid farewell to Dawne, we invite you to join us in celebrating her remarkable life on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Regina Senior Citizens’ Centre, 2404 Elphinstone Street, Regina, SK

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to causes close to Dawne’s heart, Recovery Groups which provided her with support and community throughout her journey or the Regina Humane Society as her love of animals is endless.

We take comfort in knowing that Dawne’s spirit will continue to light up our lives, just as her smile always lit up a room.

Dawne, She was one of my favourite teachers in school- gentle and hilariously funny, she guided us and shared her wisdom and humour. Incredibly hardworking as well, giving her weekends outside of her regular job.

I will always remember her laugh and her hands guiding mine in the right direction! She was gifted in many ways and a gift to her students 🤍 grateful to have known her- sending prayers to you.

Our world changed Monday April 15 2024. Friends like Dawne are rare, and those who have friends like her are very, very lucky. Our journey over the past 35 years has been a gift that was so much more empowered and blessed because Dawne was in it. Each year in August we would do our best to spend a weekend in Regina and visit. Breakfast on Saturday mornings at her kitchen table will be one of the things we will miss the most. The conversations at that table with her and Cleve were one of the things we have looked forward to each year. It was amazing how she was able to help us see things with a whole new perspective. Oh we will miss her! We know there are literally hundreds of others who are feeling this collective grief. We think Dawne would tell us to do our gratitude lists and then get on with life...and the journey continues.
