Obituaries

Cody James (Coco) was born eagerly on August 15, 2023 in Regina, Saskatchewan at 8:47 p.m. Though far too soon for us, he was called home to the Lord on December 15, 2024.

Cody is survived by his loving parents Dakota and Deanna Wagman, his best friend and big sister Mya “Ma"; his grandparents Tom (Papa) and Dannette Wagman (Gamma) and Myles (Grandpa) and Vicki Hamilton (Yiayia); his great-grandparents Doreen Wagman, Daniel Schulz (Papa 2), Elaine Potapinski, Barbara Pantelopoulos; his aunts and uncles Hayley Wagman (Noah Perras), Payton and Austin Wall, Hannah Jo and Chris Hamilton (Uncle Monies); and his best bud and cousin Walker Wall.

He was predeceased by his great-grandparents Roy Wagman, Debra Schulz, Tom Nagorski, Sherry-Lee Hamilton and Tim Pantelopoulos.

Though his life down here on earth was brief, he was the most gentle soul. From the moment he was born there was an undeniable softness to him and thanks to his big sister learning to say his name, many referred to him as our "Coco".

His love for food was a joy to watch, whether it was a Gogo fruit pouch or a rib-eye steak cooked perfectly by his Daddy. He loved to run and play with his sister - always trying to keep up. When given the opportunity to roughhouse with her, he always chose a gentle sweet "tickle tickle".

A few of his favourite things consisted of his Tonka truck, Tupperware, Gamma's chickens, sitting on Papa's tractor, Grandpa and Yiayia's staircases and anything his sister would let him hold on to for longer than five minutes. He will be remembered by the way his eyes would light up when the intro to his favourite show "Bluey" would come on or the Toy Story song, "You Got a Friend In Me". He enjoyed stacking and crashing his mega blocks, and would even manage to crash them gracefully while still being a gentle giant.

He will be remembered by the way he received and gave the best hugs and kisses. A beautiful baby boy who touched so many lives in such a brief time. We will always love and miss you Coco.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Church, 3000 Argyle Road, Regina, Saskatchewan. Private family interment will be held in Regina Memorial Gardens, Regina, Saskatchewan.
