In Loving Memory of Cheryl Ann Josephine Emperingham

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Cheryl Ann Josephine Emperingham at the age of 63 years. She will be remembered for her Kindness, Beautiful Smile, and for the Love she shared with her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She was predeceased by her father Elmer Numrich, her sister Myrna Swalm, father-in-law George Emperingham, and mother-in-law Irene Emperingham.

Cheryl is survived by her husband Doug Emperingham; her mother Lillian Numrich; her sister Linda Uhren (Greg), her brothers Darcy Numrich, Darren Numrich (Deborah) and Mike Numrich (Shauna); brother-in-law Gord Emperingham (Diana); sisters-in-law Cindy Tafelmeyer (Doug), Leslie Emperingham, and Debra Emperingham Conlin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Cheryl was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan the 2nd of 6 children. She took a secretarial course after high school and later started her employment in the Health District. She worked for Home Care and Central Scheduling and was very good at her job. She touched the lives of many throughout her working years.

She loved animals and had numerous cats and dogs. Her present day trio were her beloved Pomeranians George, Lola and Lily.

She met Doug in 2017 and they fell in love and were married in 2022.

She loved to cook and shared her recipes on Facebook. She posted pictures of her Love of Purple, her daily life and the last 3 years of her fight with cancer. Many followed her journey and gave her encouragement to keep fighting. She was a beacon of light and had a beautiful spirit. She will be missed by all.

Our Family would like to express our gratitude for the wonderful care received from Dr. MacAulay Vacheresse, the Oncology Team and Palliative Care Staff at the Regina Pasqua Hospital Unit 3A.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 2015 - 4th Avenue North, Regina, Saskatchewan.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Cheryl may be made to Mount Olive Lutheran Memorial Fund, 2015 - 4th Avenue North, Regina, Saskatchewan S4R 0T5 or Ovarian Cancer Canada.
