Charles Eric Moore was born November 24, 1978 to his parents, Eric and Debbie Moore. He grew up in Economy, Nova Scotia with his sister, Amy along with their cousins. He moved to Saskatchewan after high school where he later married Michelle and they raised their daughters Callie and Sarah. Charlie passed peacefully after a short but bravely fought battle with brain cancer on September 2, 2026 at the age of 47.

Charlie was truly one of a kind - a character who touched the lives of so many. He was a cherished son, brother, husband, father, uncle, son-in-law, brother-in-law, grandchild, nephew, cousin and friend.

Charlie loved his solitude, but he was always up for an adventure. He lived life to the fullest and, without even realizing it, taught those around him many lessons along the way. One of the greatest was his simple outlook on life: “Why worry about it if you can’t change it?” There is so much we can all learn from those words.

Charlie had a deep love for nature and an incredible ability to build, fix, or create just about anything with whatever he had around. He loved a good fixer upper whether it was a bike, a car, a snowmobile or a lawn mower. He was a collector at heart, always seeing the usefulness, possibility, or story in things others might have passed by. His mind was always working - scheming, dreaming up his next idea, or planning his next adventure.

Throughout his life, Charlie had a way of coming and going in the lives of people who needed him. He often left a lasting impression without ever realizing just how much he meant to those whose paths he crossed.

Charlie conquered so much during the short time he was here on Earth. He lived on his own terms, faced life in his own way, and created more than his share of stories, adventures, and memories that will continue to be told for years to come.

Although his time here was far too short, the lessons he taught, the laughter he brought, the stories he created, and the memories he left behind will remain in the hearts of all those fortunate enough to have known and loved him.

Charles was predeceased by his grandfathers Lloyd Moore and Paul Yorke and grandmother Marion Moore. Leaving behind to carry on his legacy his wife Michelle, daughters Callie and Sarah, parents Eric and Debbie, his sister Amy, grandmother Joyce, along with many loved nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the Lumsden Commons (St. Andrew’s United Church), 115 King Street, Lumsden, Saskatchewan. Graveside Service will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. in Economy Cemetery, Economy, Nova Scotia. Celebration of Life will follow the graveside service at the Economy Recreation Centre, 3323 NS-2, Economy, Nova Scotia. All family and friends are welcome to all services.
