August 5, 2024
Chad (Larry Chandler) Davison, late of Regina, SK, passed away surrounded by his girls, on Monday, August 5, 2024 after a 6 year battle with cancer, at the age of 52. Chad was born on March 28,1972 in Fort Qu’Appelle, SK to Larry and Barb Davison.
Chad is survived by his loving wife Jenelle; his daughters Olivia, Harper, and Sarah (Adam); parents Larry and Barb; his brother Dallas (Joanne) and Avery (Alissa), sister Chelsea (Nate), Josie and Marli; mother-in-law Joan, brother-in-law Brian, Brad (Wendy), Dreyden and Carson, sister-in-law Crystal (Jason), Akeelie, Jesse and Jayla.
Chad graduated from Campbell Collegiate High School in Regina. Chad’s career consisted of working at Sears in loss prevention, then moved to the Coop Refinery Complex in 2010 as the manager of security. Chad married Jenelle in 2005 and was blessed with two beautiful girls, Olivia in 2008, and Harper in 2010. Chad was a very active and present father to his girls, making precious memories with them from hours of biking, summer days boating on “snacks and naps” and many family trips over the years. Chad was always coaching their sports whether it be hockey, soccer, or flag football.
Chad was well loved and cherished by so many friends (new and old) and easily connected with everyone he met. He could not walk down the street without being stopped because he was so well known and respected in the community. Chad’s (dry) humor, strength, generosity, positive outlook on life was what made him stand out. His calmness in the face of chaos and his grace while battling adversity are lessons that we can all learn from him. He changed many people for the better and likely was not aware of the impact he had on them. Chad is loved more than he will ever know.
Immense gratitude is extended to the nurses and doctors at the Allan Blair Cancer Clinic, especially to the staff on Unit 5D Pasqua Hospital for their exceptional care over the years.
Private Family and Friends Celebration of Life will be held. In lieu of flowers, a trust has been set up in Jenelle Davison’s name for Olivia and Harper at Conexus Credit Union. Donations can be made by cash, cheque or etransfer to cjdavison@sasktel.net.

So sorry for your loss. Chad was a wonderful Young man. I worked with Chad at Sears he had the nicest smile and was always friendly. Years later he would stop on the street with his daughters and we’d have a visit and catch up. I was amazed he’d even take the time. He will be missed but he’s pain free now. It’s the ones left behind that suffer.

We are deeply saddened to hear about Chad's passing. From his strength and positivity, to humour and infectious smile, Chad touched many lives, including ours. We have so many cherished memories from our time in high school, and while we weren’t able to reconnect as often as we would have liked, we are extremely grateful to have been given the chance to know him.
Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
With heartfelt condolences,

When I moved into the neighborhood, Chad was one of the first neighbors to say Hi. His sense of humor and friendly demeanour led to lots of sidewalk chats and laughs, many times comparing lawns or Reno’s we were embarking on. Chads love for his family was evident, as he always had a smile when he shared a story about his girls. Chad you will be truly missed. Lots of love to Jenelle and the girls.

The first time I met Chad was when I interviewed him for the Security Supervisor role at CRC. Within minutes of meeting him, we knew it was an obvious decision to hire him. Aside from his experience, it was his personality, positive outlook, and sense of humour that won us over. I had the pleasure of working in the same department with Chad for a number of years and am so grateful for having gotten to know him and sharing many laughs. Many many laughs. Family was important to him. He was so proud of "his girls" and always had that twinkle in his eye when he spoke about them. He will be dearly missed by all of us. May his memory be eternal.
