Cesar Alberto Sanabria Villamil

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Cesar Alberto Sanabria Villamil on Sunday, March 8, 2026. He passed away at the age of 48 years young. Cesar was born in Honduras on June 29, 1977. He was predeceased by his father Cesar, his Uncle Teo Miguel and his cousin Carlos for which his son is named after.

Cesar will be forever missed by his wife Shanna, his son Carlos, his daughter Alicia and his puppies Mowgli and Rocky; his mother Nora Villamil, his sister Alejandra Villamil and her fiancé Glen, niece Tiana and nephew Kazim, his brother Andres Villamil, Tia Blanca and cousins (Toronto), Tia Bertha and cousins (Honduras) and many other relatives in Honduras. He will also be remembered by his in-laws Barry and Peg Boyarski, Keala and Jon Thomas, nephews Joseph and Ethan, Erin and Steve Jennett, nephews Connor and Lucas; as well as his many friends and his brothers from The Structural Ironworkers Local 771.

Cesar was known for his strong work ethic and quiet generosity. He was the kind of man who helped others without ever asking for anything in return. Cesar’s children were the center of his life and his greatest pride and joy. He also treasured the many moments spent with family and friends. Though he is gone, the memories he created and the love he shared will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made in Cesar’s memory to The Allan Blair Cancer Centre. A Celebration of Life will be determined at a later date.

I got to know Ceasar when we work together at Cote Gold. We had breakfast every morning the whole time we work. We became the old guys breakfast crew myself and the late Michael George after the job was complete we all went our separate way. Ceasar and I kept in touch. R.I.P MY FRIEND I WILL MISS YOUR FRIENSHIP

I worked briefly with Ceasar in Northeast Ontario. We frequently sat together at supper time. He was a kind and gregarious man. He loved to talk about his family. Please accept my condolence. "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." — Matthew 5:4

18 years old, who is this new guy in our crew. Well Cesar you turned out to be one of my most trusting close friends. 12 hour bike rides from one side of the city to the other and back with nothing but shorts and runners, maybe a 5 dollars to buy a few bananas. Rescuing each other in hard times. I can't believe your gone, I always looked up to you for the man you are, now I look up to you as an angel, still watching over.

am Cesar’s aunt—the sister of his father (RIP). His sudden and unexpected passing has left our family with a profound sense of sorrow. We are left with the memories of the beautiful moments we lived and shared as a family in our beloved Comayagua—his joy, his courage, his noble spirit, and his loving nature. This is how we will remember him; he will live on forever in our minds and in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear Cesar. All those who went before you—your father, your grandparents, your aunts and uncles, and your cousin—will come to welcome you. May the earth rest lightly upon you; in your passing, you conquered your illness—ever courageous. To your mother, wife, and children—Alejandra and Andres—I extend my deepest sympathies and condolences. May God grant you strength during this time of profound grief. Blessings.
