June 11, 2026

Carole Agnes Powell (née Tate) passed away peacefully with her family at her side on June 11, 2026 at the age of 88. To know Carole was to feel instantly welcomed, genuinely cared for, and certain that goodness truly exists in the world.
She was simply the kindest, most generous person you could ever hope to meet, giving freely of her time and her money and never once putting herself first. Her love was unconditional, her support unwavering, and her care for others came as naturally as breathing. She worked hard, cared deeply for the people she loved, and met life’s challenges with grace and resilience, with a brilliant mind that stayed sharp and lively right to the very end.
Her trust and love for Jesus was unwavering, the true foundation of her life. She knew her Bible deeply and drew from it daily. She loved Jesus completely and lived that love in everything she did.
She cheered loudly for her Saskatchewan Roughriders and brought real enthusiasm to any type of celebration, especially St. Patrick’s Day.
To her grandchildren Caleigh and Anthony, she was a second mother, present and devoted and endlessly loving. The years she spent with them were among the greatest joys of her life.
Carole is survived by her children John (Blanca) and Jane, and her grandchildren Caleigh and Anthony. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill and three children who went to live with Jesus before her.
A Celebration of this extraordinary person will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in Celebration Church, 3130 Renfrew Crescent, Regina, Saskatchewan with Pastor Nico officiating.
She will be missed beyond measure and loved always.
