September 25, 2025
It is with deep sadness, yet a sense of peace, the family honors Carol Judith Amelia's 89 precious years of life. She passed away on September 25, 2025 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Her memory will be cherished alongside that of her beloved husband of 68 years Elie who passed away in 2016. Carol will be lovingly celebrated by those who survive her including 3 children and 7 grandchildren: Terry (Morgan and Beau), Lori (Breanna, Caitlin, Alexa), Darren and Sherry (Elijah and Kale).
Carol was predeceased by her parents Martha and Chester Stewart; her brothers Lloyd and Derald; her sisters Eileen and Joyce; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Carol and Elie enjoyed 50 years of life events in the house they built in 1967 at 1361 King Crescent in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. For many years, Carol was employed at the Saskatchewan Training School and Sears Canada (Men's Wear and HR). As a two-time cancer survivor (thriver!), Carol and Elie were always proud to participate in the annual "Relay for Life". After retirement, they also enjoyed many trips to the USA and Europe. Her grandchildren were her absolute delight, and she undoubtedly enriched their lives in many ways. Above all, Carol's foremost concern was always putting her family and friends first.
For all eternity, we are grateful for her life intertwined with ours. Carol's life was a precious gift to many, and this world will not be the same without her. Heaven has just been blessed with her kindness, strength, beauty and compassion.
A very special thanks to all at the Moose Jaw Special Care Home who made it possible for Carol to embark on the last 10 years of her life. You are angels on Earth.
A Private Graveside Service at Rosedale Cemetery in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan will be held.
In lieu of flowers or a donation, the family asks that the greatest tribute you can offer is to honor Carol's spirt by performing a random act of kindness for someone.
