Bradley Drew Scott

Brad Drew Scott, late of Regina, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at the Regina General Hospital at the age of 63.

Brad was predeceased by his father David R. Scott; his paternal grandparents Lorna and Harold Scott; his maternal grandmother Queenie Boyce; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and close cousins.

He is survived by his common law partner Donna Neilsen who has been at his side caring for him ever since the accident; his mother Bev Pedersen (Eric); his stepmother Cathy Scott; his two brothers Greg (Sadie) Scott and their daughter Zeaphia; Doug (Kathy) Scott and his daughter Michelle and granddaughter Aurora.

Having spent his whole life in Regina he was very well known. He was a member of Local 180 for many years and remained close friends with many of his union colleagues. He was a fan of the NFL and a Chicago Blackhawks hockey fan from the time he was a little boy, but there was no better team in Brad's eyes than the CFL Saskatchewan Roughriders.

A special thank you goes out to Dr. Kothare, Dr. Belak, Dr. Bonnie Richardson, Dr. Pillay, the Home Care Caregivers, Nurses, Paramedics and Fire department who all took great care of Brad for so many years. As well, all the Nurses, Doctors and Respiratory Techs at the Regina General Hospital, Pasqua Hospital and Wascana Rehabilitation Centre who worked so hard for 10 years trying to give Brad a chance at a good life.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations in Brad’s memory may be made to any animal rescue program. Thank you to Almassy Metz Funeral and Cremation Services for your help and support during this difficult time.
