May 3, 2026

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our husband, father, Grandpa and Great-Grandpa. Tony passed away on May 3, 2026, at the age of 93. He had been a resident of Parkside Extendicare in Regina, SK since August, 2025.
Left to celebrate his life are his wife of 71 years Margaret; sons Nick (Sherri), Darren (Brenda), Corey (Carolyn), daughter Deb (Bob) Wirll; grandchildren Courtney (Blair), Jonathan (Amber), Tamara (Blaine), Jasmine (Marc), Karla (Adam), Tanner (Charity), Ashley (Mike); great-grandchildren Anthony, Spencer, Krue, Kya, Lucy, Blake, Charley, Vada, Rhett; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Tony was predeceased by his parents John and Genevieve; parents-in-law Ted and Magdalena Lipp; son Heath; his brothers Frank, George, Mike, Clem, Edmund, Ron; his sisters Florence, Katherine and Margaret; brothers and sisters-in-law Anne Bitz, Mary Bitz, Ila Bitz, Jack and Gladys Lipp, John Hoffart, George Hoffart, Frank and Anne Embury, Val and Albina Massine and Ralph Miller.
Tony was born in Holdfast, SK on July 5, 1932 and farmed there with his wife Margaret until his auction sale in 1996. Like the old saying goes “you can always take the boy off the farm but never take the farm out of the boy”. He missed his farm so much after they moved to Regina. He was such a kind man and made friends easily with anyone. Tony always had time to stop and visit and would have a neverending series of stories to tell. You would always see him with a smile on his face and a sparkle in his eye. He will be missed by many.
Funeral Mass for Tony will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 100 Argyle Street, Regina, SK. Private family interment in Holdfast Roman Catholic Cemetery, Holdfast, SK.
A very special thank you is extended to all the staff at Parkside Extendicare for the excellent care Tony received.

My heart goes out as we say goodbye to Uncle Tony. I will always remember his devilish chuckle and that unmistakable sparkle in his eyes—he had a way of making every moment feel lighter and more memorable. I think back to when I had my first child and he came to visit me… and now, as I embrace a grandchild, that memory feels even more special. Life has come full circle in the most tender way, and I carry that moment with me. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. Holding onto the laughter and the warmth he brought into our lives. Rest peacefully, Uncle Tony 🤍 Pamela, Brenden & Lindsay, Dylan, Kayl.
