It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Aiden Rylan Heiberg on August 14, 2024 at the age of 17. He is the third child of Corey and Melody Heiberg; brother to Kristopher, Samantha and Kale; beloved grandson of Jerry and Cindy Schmidt, Rhonda and Bart Moon and Michael Heiberg; great-grandson to Jim and Carol Barmby. He was so loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Aiden was an avid hunter and fisherman. He spent many hours with family and friends doing what he loved - being outside taking advantage of the best of what each season has to offer. Summers were spent fishing, camping and tubing at the lake. Winter and snow brought skating, ice fishing, sledding and quadding when there was not enough snow yet. Winter also brought hockey and our boy loved to play! His teammates and friends meant the world to him. He also played baseball and football, although football didn't make the cut last year as it overlapped and interfered with prime hunting season.

He was a quiet, kind kid - very few words, but always the first to offer to help with any work that needed to be done. Aiden had a strong work ethic, holding down several part-time jobs, juggling school, work, sports and hunting. He is known to all in the community for being "such a good kid" and he really was. His loss is tragic, a life cut too short.

He was loved by all and will by missed beyond measure. Forever 17.

Your death may be sad, but you are not a sad story. You are light and love and everything good. We carry you in our hearts until we meet again, Aiden.

Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial donations in memory of Aiden may be made to the Lang Community Rink, Lang, Saskatchewan.

Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in Milestone Memorial Rink, Milestone, Saskatchewan. Please bring your hockey sticks to display at the service in memory of Aiden and dress casually.
