Tony passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025 at the age of 91 with his wife Sharon by his side.
Tony was born in Earl Grey, SK on October 8, 1934 and resided there his entire life. He was a passionate farmer and a very skilled carpenter. Fishing, camping, playing ball, golfing, cards, coffee at the elevator and winters in Arizona were Tony’s favorite pastimes. He was also an avid Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays fan.
Tony was predeceased by his parents Karl and Elizabeth; his sister Doreen Donison; his brother-in-law Norman Sievert; and great-nephew Tyson Sievert. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sharon (nee Koshman); his sister Loreen Sievert; his extended family, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
A special thank you to the staff at Strasbourg Last Mountain Pioneer Home for the wonderful care Tony received during the last years of his life.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in Christ Lutheran Church, Earl Grey, SK. Interment to follow in the Earl Grey Cemetery, Earl Grey, SK. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tony’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
