Leslie Anne Harder

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Leslie Anne Harder, a beloved mother, daughter, sister and friend who left us peacefully on January 5, 2024.

Born on April 10, 1956, to Abraham and Juliana Harder, Leslie's life was a testament to care, resilience and a unique blend of humor and wisdom. She was predeceased by her father Abraham Harder, her brother-in-law Eugene Manchur and her nephew David Gaebel.

Leslie's legacy continues through her devoted son Kevin; her loving daughter Kathy (Steven); her cherished grandchildren Alicia (Travis), Brynn and Callum; great-granddaughter Luna; her mother Juliana; her siblings Cathy Manchur, William Harder (Helen), Patricia Allen (Tom), Mary Yoner (Kelly), Helen Theriault, Sherry Salter (Craig), Joanne Eberle (Mike) and Ruth Harder; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, will forever hold Anne in their hearts.

Leslie's career in nursing was more than a profession; it was a calling. She extended her caring hands not only to her patients but also to friends, family, neighbors and anyone in need. Her ability to provide comfort and support was unparalleled, making her a pillar in her community and a beacon of hope to those she served.

Known for her quick wit, Leslie had an extraordinary talent for always knowing what to say and how to lighten any situation with her humor. She was a woman of strength, compassion and an unwavering spirit, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she encountered.

As we bid farewell to Leslie, we celebrate a life richly lived and deeply loved. Her memories and lessons will continue to guide and inspire us. A Private Memorial Service will be held for family and close friends in April 2024.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Leslie's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated, as a tribute to her life of giving and caring.

Our beautiful Anne will be ever loved.
