Dawne you helped me get freedom from the pain and suffering that was troubling me. You guided me through the steps and gave me great advice. You were always so loving and caring. I will never forget you. I will always be grateful that you were a huge part of my recovery. My deepest condolences to your family and friends. I was fortunate enough to work with Dawne at the massage college. Her endless energy and passion always made me smile. Dawne helped cultivate my passion for massage therapy and teaching massage. I will miss her always. Rest well sweet Dawne❤️

Dawne, She was one of my favourite teachers in school- gentle and hilariously funny, she guided us and shared her wisdom and humour. Incredibly hardworking as well, giving her weekends outside of her regular job.

I will always remember her laugh and her hands guiding mine in the right direction! She was gifted in many ways and a gift to her students 🤍 grateful to have known her- sending prayers to you.

We are so very sorry to hear of Dawne's passing. She was a wonderful woman and a great neighbor at the lake. Wishing you peace to bring you comfort, courage to face the days ahead, and loving memories to forever hold in your heart.

I was always happy to see Dawn when our paths crossed here and there around Regina. With lots in common, we always had good, warm conversations that left me wanting to spend more time together. Dawn my best friend Bugsy, she was a part of my life for over fifty years. She loved me unconditionally and was such a solid support. I always thought she would be here forever she was so strong. I can’t express the hole in my life and in my heart without Bugs. I miss her. George you wrote a wonderful tribute to your mum she would have been proud. Our world changed Monday April 15 2024. Friends like Dawne are rare, and those who have friends like her are very, very lucky. Our journey over the past 35 years has been a gift that was so much more empowered and blessed because Dawne was in it. Each year in August we would do our best to spend a weekend in Regina and visit. Breakfast on Saturday mornings at her kitchen table will be one of the things we will miss the most. The conversations at that table with her and Cleve were one of the things we have looked forward to each year. It was amazing how she was able to help us see things with a whole new perspective. Oh we will miss her! We know there are literally hundreds of others who are feeling this collective grief. We think Dawne would tell us to do our gratitude lists and then get on with life...and the journey continues.

Dawne was such a special lady & God Bless her sense of humour!! Thanks for everything & always opening your door to me & offering me a bed to sleep on. I’m glad you are now at peace my friend 😇🥰
